Well, Pocketed’s real magic is our team – but our program matching is pretty great too! Based on your client profile Pocketed’s intelligent platform finds programs you are likely eligible for.  There are thousands of programs that open every year and it’s next to impossible to keep up. Frett not! Pocketed is here to help. As you know, many programs require a minimum (or maximum) number of employees, revenue requirements, demand a certain number of years in business, the criteria are endless... If we’re confident an opportunity is not a fit, we won’t make you read through it (phew)! That said, we don’t want you or your clients to miss opportunities. Pocketed intentionally tends towards false positives. We’d rather show you a program your client might be eligible for than hide a program they were eligible for. With each release of our matching algorithm, matches get better! 

We say this all the time - grants fund projects, not businesses and you know your client's needs and focus better than anyone. To help get that list of matches from 100s down to something you might want to recommend we provide filters to narrow it down.

• Sort - Maybe you only want to look at open grants? There is a toggle for that (but do look at closed programs as they may reopen!)
• Filter – Pocketed offers filters on grant type (hiring, market expansion, research and development etc) as well as ways to look for grants to fund specific people (maybe the client met a student or a new grad that’d love to hire for 50% off). We also allow you to refine location (useful for large companies that work in all provinces) and grant value.
